Apr 30, 2026"We ate lunch on a misty day in January. Superb high quality food, inventively and beautufully presented, an exquisite location, with charming and attentive service. Well worth the trip up the valley! Congratulations to the Team for making such a success in such a remote location. Particularly notable from the strong menu was the Chicken Liver Pate with Myrtille topping, complete with novel pickles, and the Sea Bass, which was cooked to perfection."

Apr 15, 2026"Had a great lunch at le petit hibou during a day’s skiing with a Snoworks group. The beef fillet and the cheesecake were superb , a fine dining experience. Dave’s homemade beer was excellent and we really appreciated the time he took to talk us through the range and provide a selection to sample. This was my second visit and I will certainly be back when I am next in the Paradiski region."

Apr 09, 2026"We stayed in the rooms upstairs, and we had a truly excellent experience. The owners, Dave and Cass, are very friendly and went out of their way to keep us comfortable. They provided dinner for us each night, which was truly excellent. They were extremely accommodating, providing us with vegetarian food for part of our party and adapting the menu to our preferences. Dave brews his own beer, and he was kind enough to show us his equipment. The rooms themselves are very cozy and spacious. But ultimately, it's the location that is the biggest highlight. It's next door to the nordic ski center and is surrounded by beautiful skiing and walking paths. At night, it suddenly feels very secluded and peaceful, with utter silence and a beautiful view of the full moon. This place is a real gem!"
